Day 02: Mount Abu to Udaipur

After Breakfast & Check out from hotel. Depart for Udaipur. Arrive at Udaipur and transfer to the hotel. Udaipur, ‘the city of lakes’ is admired for its fairy-tale palaces, lakes, temples, and gardens among many more. Visit Sajjangarh (Monsoon Palace), Shilpgram and Bhartiya Lok Kala Mandal.

After Breakfast, Proceed to morning city sightseeing tour. Built in 1559 A.D. by Maharaja Udai Singh, the city has been described as the most romantic spot on the continent of India by Col. James Todd. The places of interest include City Palace which has several carved balconies, arches and decorated pillars, Zenana Mahal, Sahelion-ki-Bari (queen’s resort for the friends), Enjoy Boat Ride at Lake Pichola (Own), and Visit to Fateh Prakash, Moti Magari, Durbar Hall and Shambhu Niwas. Also visit Jagdish temple.

After Breakfast, Proceed to tour of Jaipur. Jaipur – the capital of Rajasthan was given a colour coat of pink a century ago in honour of a visiting Prince and ever since, it has retained this colour. Built by Maharaja Jai Singh, the notable astronomer, this city is 260 years old. Visit Maharaja’s City Palace, Jantar Mantar, Albert Hall, Birla Temple.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
We need to receive a cancellation request in writing for us to proceed with cancellation. The following charges will be applicable based on the cancellation request received by us.
• If you cancel –
◦ 60 days prior to departure there will be a 10% deduction on the package cost.
◦ 59 – 45 days prior to departure: 25% deduction on the mounpackage cost.
◦ 44 – 30 days prior to departure: 45% deduction on the package cost.
◦ 30 – 15 days prior to departure: 65% deduction on the package cost.
◦ 15 – 07 days prior to departure: 95% deduction on the package cost.
◦ 06 days or less: 100% deduction on the package cost.

• Most of the Hotels may ask for a security deposit at the time of check-in, which is refundable at the time of check-out and is subject to the hotel’s policy.

• Rates for the extra night are per person per night.
• Child rates apply for children aged from 2 to 11 years old. One child sharing a room with two adults (depending on hotel policy).
• Most hotels in Europe have occupancy policy per room. They will generally not allow more than 03 people in one room (based on the room size).
• If the hotel doesn’t have availability for family rooms, adult rates will apply for child also.
• We will endeavour to match the rates quoted in the packages.
• If certain entrances are closed during certain periods, alternative entrances will be provided.

HOTELS:

1. 1. Kindly note that names of hotels mentioned in the proposed hotels only indicate that our rates have been based on usage of these hotels and it is not to be construed that accommodation is confirmed at these hotels until and unless we convey such confirmation to you. We reserve the right to change the same due to availability issue with the hotel, or unavoidable circumstances. In that case we may provide alternative, similar accommodation and shall pass on the difference of rates (supplement/reduction whatever applicable) to you.
   2. Our offer is based on usage of base category rooms at the mentioned hotels (unless specified otherwise) and if this category of rooms is not available we shall try to confirm accommodation in next available higher category of rooms and shall advise supplementary cost involved while conveying the status.

MEALS:

The menus are pre – set menus provided for breakfast/lunch/dinner on the tour as mentioned under each Tour itinerary and inclusions and exclusions as committed at the time of confirmation. In standard/Budget category of hotels the meals preferences are veg meals, unless specified and in Deluxe/Super Deluxe and Luxury category of hotels/resort the meals are mixture of veg and non-veg preferences.

Mostly buffet meals are served during the tour, but depending upon the less occupancy and group size Ala Carte meals may be served by the hotels. No claim can be made for the meal which guest has missed and not utilized.

ITINERARY CHANGES:

For the comfort and convenience of guests, there could be some changes or amendments in the itinerary. We will try to advise you of these amendments, prior to the start of the tour or on tour. In the event if guest misses on any part of the sightseeing tour or any such tour due to delay on his part, he will not be entitled to claim refund of the same.

The timings mentioned in Day schedule in the itinerary may vary depending upon the road conditions, particular destination visits, En route meals, climatic conditions, particular health conditions of the guests and timings of sightseeing places and monuments.

CONDITION OF TRAVEL

Please note the readymade packages are made on the basis of destinations to be visited, sightseeing’s/excursions and activities to be done during the tour, keeping in view the time, cost and other factors while designing the package. The guest have to strictly follow the Tour itinerary. Any additional sightseeing’s and excursions apart from the suggested itinerary will be on supplement cost. Any additional transfers/ pickups/drops apart from the proposed itinerary shall be subject to additional charges payable apart from the package quote.

In case where a guest along with his family is unable to join or continue the tour due to any reason whatsoever including illness, death or loss of any travel documents, flight/train delays or cancellation no claim shall be entertained for refund of unutilized services, his booking shall be treated as ‘no show’ on the tour and 100% cancellation charges will be levied.

TRANSPORT

We normally use A/C Sedan such as Etios/Desire, Innova/Crysta/Tempo Travellers/2X2 A/C Coaches for our tours depending upon the group size and preferences of the travel. The drivers of the vehicles are bound by specific rules like maximum driving hours within a day, rest period per day etc. Clients will have to strictly adhere to the prescribed timetable for the day so that the driver can complete the travel. In case, any of the sightseeing schedules is missed due to delays caused by the client, the same will not be refunded to the client under any circumstances. Please note that AC will not work in Hills and no claims to this regard shall be entertained.

IDENTITY PROOFS:

It is mandatory to carry the Photo identity Proof during travel and have to be presented at the time of Check Inn in all hotels for security reason.

ROHATANG PASS EXCURSION:

(CLOSED ON TUESDAY) OPENS FROM JUNE 15 TO OCTOBER 15

Excursion to Rohatang is not included in the itinerary because NGT has restricted the number of vehicle to this place and, it entirely depends upon the permission on a particular day. The client can take the local State Transport Bus (INR 1000 to 1500 per person return) and visit Rohtang. The guest has to get the tickets from the Bus Depot at Mall Road. The local cabs charge somewhere between INR 5000 to INR 13000 depending on the demand

MOUNUMENTS AND ENTRY CHARGES:

All monuments are closed on Monday and Taj Mahal is closed on Friday. Rohatang Pass is closed on Tuesday for maintenance. Kindly check your itinerary at you end as well.
